Interesting fact:
In 1915, businessman Cecil Chubb bought Stonehenge at an auction. He paid £6,600 for the historical site, although he originally just wanted to purchase a few dining chairs. In 1918, he donated Stonehenge to the state which has been taking care of the monument ever since.
