The episode "Mister Skinny-legs" of the British animated children's TV show "Peppa Pig" was banned in Australia. In the episode, the eponymous Peppa overcomes her fear of spiders – a fear that the Australian government would rather see preserved in the TV audience. This instant of censorship can be forgiven though, considering that Australia is home to numerous lethally venomous arachnids.
