Interesting fact:

Not all bats are blood-sucking vampires. In fact, only three species out of 1,100 fall into this predatory category. Some of these bloodsuckers need to ingest their own body weight in blood each night. One species, the white-winged vampire bat, snuggles up to hens and pretends they’re chicks. Then… chomp.
