Interesting fact:

We can all thank Clement Moore for creating eight out of the nine reindeers that fly Santa’s sleigh each year. He first penned them anonymously in the poem The Night Before Christmas in 1823. Originally, two of the reindeer had Dutch translations, Duner and Blixem. They were later translated to Donner and Blitzen.
