Interesting fact:

Owls don’t have eyeballs. Instead, they have eye tubes. Whilst these tubes give them enhanced binocular vision at night, they don’t move in their sockets like normal eyeballs do. This is why owls have developed the ability to turn their heads 270 degrees.
